BRIEF SUMMARY: “What? This stuff cannot be eaten! Is a woman’s cooking edible?!” It is October 1812 at ‘Tsuruya’, the soba shop at Edo’s Odaidokoromachi near Kanda Myojin Shrine. The apprentice Mio (Kitagawa Keiko) is reproached by customer(s) for the dishes she has cooked for the first time at the shop, and her head droops. Mio, who grew up in Osaka, lost her parents in a flood at the age of 8. Picked up half alive by ‘Tenman Icchoan’, one of Osaka’s famous restaurants, her gift as a cook was recognised by the owner, Kahei and his wife Yoshi (Harada Mieko) and they let her begin training in the kitchen at 12. However, the restaurant was burnt down in a fire last year and Kahei, died too. Three months ago, Mio and Yoshi came out to Edo where Yoshi’s son lived but did not know his whereabouts. Fate led them to the owner of ‘Tsurya’, Taneichi (Osugi Ren), and they have just started working for him. The wandering samurai Komatsubara (Matsuoka Masahiro), a regular customer and drinking partner of Taneichi, eats a mouthful of the miso hotpot that the customer(s) would not even touch with a pair of chopsticks and mutters, “Interesting.” His is a mysterious existence. He would drop in at ‘Tsuruya’ and go back after drinks … … Because he is observant and well-informed about food, he quickly notices Mio’s talent. Mio keeps getting taken to task by customers who criticise the look and taste of her dishes. “How can you be a cook if your food has no flavour!” In fact, it is not possible to bring out the same taste even with soup stock from kelp similar to the ones in Osaka. Mio can neither get used to Edo-style bonito soup stock nor the taste of strong soy sauce, and is troubled but she in turn invents new dishes and builds her reputation. Taneichi is captivated by Mio’s culinary skills and lets her be in charge of the shop. Meanwhile, Yoshi, who has been having health problems, collapses. 劇 名﹕澪的料理帖 I DVD

 

劇 情﹕一場洪災讓兒時玩伴澪（北川景子 飾）和野江（貫地谷詩穗梨 飾）被衝散。澪被大阪料理名店天滿一兆奄的老闆娘（原田美枝子 飾）收留，給予了澪溫暖，也發現了澪極具料理天分。一場大火燒了店舖也葬送了老闆的性命。澪和老闆娘肩負著重振天滿一兆奄之名，來到了江戶。無意中被一家名為鶴屋的料理店老闆（大杉漣 飾）發現，勾起了老闆對已逝女兒的回憶，在發現澪頗具天分後，讓澪在鶴屋幫起忙來。
但最初澪的料理並沒有得到客人的喜歡，相反還惹怒了客人。使其料理之路步履維艱，在幾次受挫和經由浪人小松原（松岡昌宏 飾）及永田醫生（平岡佑太 飾）的點撥和幫助後，澪悟出了大阪和江戶飲食的差別，做出了改變。改良後的食物得到了肯定，但很快就被其它店舖模仿，於是澪開始思索真正屬於自己的味道，鶴屋生意的興隆讓老牌名店嫉妒不已且暗中想要破壞；而另一方面，兒時玩伴野江也在江戶，以自己的力量守護著澪…...
