BRIEF SUMMARY: Morita Sakura  has an exceptional memory, and she strives to be a mystery writer While switching between various jobs throughout the series, she also becomes an assistant to Officer Udagawa, a detective who discovers her excellent memory and reasoning skills. On the other hand, Udagawa (who got the police job through his father's connections) is fairly inept and has a tendency to fall in love with female suspects.  In attempt to prove himself as a detective, he hires Sakura on a part-time basis to help him with the investigation. And so Sakura and Udagawa started the journey in solving various mysterious cases.
