BRIEF SUMMARY:
Okawabata Detective Agency is located in a
multi-tenant building along the Sumida River in Asakusa, Tokyo. It is a small
detective agency with three persons. Muraki (Odagiri Joe) the investigator, the
boss (Ishibashi Nenji) who is familiar with the underworld but has a background
completely shrouded in mystery, and the refreshingly cheerful and beautiful
receptionist Megumi (Koizumi Maya). They investigate unfathomable requests that
pour in from all sorts of people. At times, they are also approached with
consultations deemed physically impossible. However, they search for their own
solutions in the investigations as they slowly come in contact with the complex
web of interpersonal relationships as well as hidden backgrounds of their
