BRIEF SUMMARY:
In his first film as the leading actor. Takashi plays a young man who
learns that his estranged father (Jun Kunimura) has only three months left to
live. He agrees to take on his father's last request - to find his former lover.
In his search, he encounters a "time slip" and meets his father as a young man
(Asahi Uchida), eventually gaining an understanding of his father's heart.

在一座海邊的寧養院，聰史（塚本高史飾）站在貼著「柳田昭彥」名牌的病房前。三年前，聰史不顧父親昭彥（國村隼飾）已患末期癌症，毅然離家出走
。父親經營餐館很成功，但聰史從小就不喜歡缺乏溫情的他，常和父親作對。見到父親後 ，聰史聽到了意外的請求。「希望你幫我找到三十多年前和我交往過的女子
。我和她有個孩子……」父親和那個女子分手多年後，偶然得知他們有個孩子，但一直沒能找到她。線索很少 ，只有「真山澪」這個名字、以前的居住地址、東洋音樂大學鋼琴系學生的身份
，以及當時夢想當畫家的昭彥的一本寫生簿。寫生簿的最後一頁上畫著一個擁有美麗眼眸的女子
。聰史本想拒絕，但父親說無法拜託妻子節子（風吹淳飾）和只關心遺產的長子慎一（蟹江一平飾） ，他只好勉為其難地答應了下來。
真山澪以前住的「明風莊」已經殘破不堪。聰史打開寫生簿
，看到了當年嶄新的明風莊的模樣。突然一陣暈眩襲來，待恢復之後，聰史打開了本應無人的203室，卻看到了一對青年男女正在接吻，那就是昭彥（和田聰宏飾）和真山澪（原田夏希飾）
。三個年輕人攀談了起來，聊得十分投機。然而，當聰史離開房間時，卻發現自己又回到了現代。
每當打開寫生簿，聰史就能遇到三十二年前的昭彥和澪。隨著交往愈深 ，聰史和他們之間產生了不可思議的友情。以往心目中為了工作總不回家的父親的形象也發生了改變。
然而，當昭彥從亡父那裡繼承了一家餐館和巨債之後，命運的軌跡發生了變化……
