BRIEF SUMMARY:
43-year-old
Totori Hiroshi (Mikami Hiroshi) used to be a scholar who researched animal life
at a university. It was a fulfilling life. Nevertheless, his desire to put his
own abilities to use, led him to apply for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police
Department’s mid-career recruitment exam, which he passes. Totori realises his
dream to be a detective in the First Investigative Division and is partnered
with the 28-year-old Yasunaga Teppei (Takahashi Mitsuomi). To this junior,
Totori is a very stubborn, older rookie detective. An idiosyncratic newbie who
applies logical thinking, constructs hypotheses and investigates with the
meticulousness of an experiment and a righteous, scrupulous young detective.
They sometimes clash and at other times cooperate as they focus their efforts on
capturing criminals.

BRIEF SUMMARY:
Professor Totori Hiroshi is a zoologist turned detective who passed the
Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s mid-career recruitment exam. He was
assigned to the First Investigative Division and partnered with Yasunaga
Teppei. They are an unlikely pair: an idiosyncratic detective who applies
logical thinking, constructs hypotheses and verifies evidence with the
meticulousness of an experiment, and a righteous, scrupulous young
detective. This time, Totori and Yasunaga tackle the murder trick of
international architect Kubo Michiyo. The architect Naito, who is her work
partner, broaches the topic of starting out on his own. He takes the
occasion of his marriage to assistant Yuka to spread his own wings. However,
Michiyo learns that her customers are being stolen over to Naito’s new
studio by Yuka’s aggressive sales tactics. She plots Yuka’s murder and puts
it into action. Totori and Yasunaga suspect Michiyo and strive to crush her
perfect alibi
